Our department offers graduate programs leading to the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. The students are required to take courses, pass qualifying examinations (for Ph.D student only), and conduct research, write a thesis/dissertation. Each graduate student could receive a fellowship from the Ministry of Education and/or financial support through their advisor's research grant. The fellowship likely provides sufficient amount to maintain a modest living in Hualien. Detailed information and requirements about our graduate program can be obtained from our main office.
